About Us

Our Story, Our History, Our People

We are a focused group of parents and professionals building an intentional education community. We are a soul-guided collective with diverse backgrounds in education, arts, health, social equality and well-being.

Our community of educators and facilitators rooted in a strong child-centred ethos work from a pioneering concept of being one of the first Nubian-led education hubs in the UK. We work on the understanding that education can be enjoyed and healing through a well-delivered and holistic curriculum in a culturally diverse learning environment.

Ka Education Hub in South East London is our first centre where we aim to enrich the spirits of our young people. Our focus is to create a wholesome learning experience for children aged 9yrs and over.

“From the moment we arrived in Wales, I felt the touch of something rare, an atmosphere woven with care, intention, and a deep spiritual presence. Open Arms Kallective Lauren and Asafo didn't just organise a trip, they created a sanctuary for homeschool families, where learning, laughter, and love were seamlessly intertwined.

Every detail, from the accommodation to the activities, carried the imprint of thoughtfulness. They anticipated needs before they were spoken, held space for every family member, and managed the days with such professionalism that it felt effortless. Yet, behind that ease was a clear depth of planning and a genuine desire for everyone to feel not only welcome, but seen.

The five days were a dance between joy and serenity. Children played freely, parents connected meaningfully, and there was always a sense of unity, as if we were one extended family.

Spiritually, there was light everywhere. You could feel it in the way Lauren greeted each morning with a warm smile, and in the way Asafo's calm strength anchored the group. There was prayer in the preparation, love in the logistics, and peace in the pauses between activities.

I left Wales not just refreshed, but renewed, carrying with me a reminder that community, when built on love and purpose, becomes a powerful force for healing and growth.

Lauren and Asafo, you didn't just plan a trip. You created an experience that will be etched into our hearts for years to come. Thank you for giving us a living example of what happens when care meets creativity, and professionalism walks hand-in-hand with spiritual light.”
